has been serving the San Francisco area, and has successfully become one of the leading court reporting companies
in California. In late 2007, Golden Gate Reporting was voted "Best Court Reporting Service" by Bay Area attorneys. (The Recorder, December 2007) We are proud to list as our clients

How Will
Golden Gate Reporting Meet My Specific Needs?
Once we begin working
with you, we request a five minute meeting in
person. This allows us to fully understand your
needs, and to make sure that we coordinate with
your staff early on. For example, we address issues
such as (a) the DVD format you prefer (i.e., MPEG
2, -R, +R, etc.), (b) whether you will be using
trial presentation software, and (c) determining
your standing order.

is a national company and is part of the Capital Reporting Company Group. We are headquartered in San Rafael, CA,
but have offices in San Francisco and Oakland, California, as well as Washington, D.C., New York, New York, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Along with our multiple offices, we have reporters in virtually every major
market in the United States. On any given day
our reporters cover jobs in New York, Philadelphia,
Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Boston… or any other city where your case
may take you!
What Technology
Will Help With My Depositions?
Golden Gate Reporting
has invested heavily in technology which will
help greatly with your case. First, you and your
support staff will have your own dedicated website
where you can check your calendar. This helps
prevent any mistakes. Second, you will have access
to your transcripts online which you can view
and download 24/7 on the internet. If you are
handling a deposition in Chicago, and need to
check a transcript you took in New York, just
log online and you can find it within minutes.
There is no charge for this service.
How Do Golden
Gate Reporting’s Rates Compare?
Our rates are extremely
competitive and tend to be lower than our competitors.
But we are not “cheap.” Your client
will not be well served if you do not have an
accurate record. If you hire Golden Gate Reporting,
you will have the peace of mind knowing that your
client is being well represented. If you have
a problem, or have an emergency, we are here 24/7
to handle your needs.
Additionally, Golden
Gate Reporting does not charge for our online
repository, minuscripts, E-transcripts, ASCII
disks, or any other hidden surcharges. When investigating
rates from different companies, make sure you
are comparing apples to apples. Other companies
tend to have additional page rates if the depositions
include medical terminology, or if it’s
being videotaped. Golden Gate Reporting does not
believe in these types of surcharges.
